Konnichiwa! Getting around Kyoto for the most part seems easy during our stay as most of thr travel will be on the Keihan line. I could use some help for a certain leg of the trip. Can you help answer these questions?
1. We are staying near Jingumaratamachi station, which is part of the Oto line. Is thi s simple comtinuation of the keihan or do you have to transfer from the keihana to the Oto?
2. We are planning a day near Arashiyama, visiting the Bamboo Forest after visiting Kinkaku-ji . What is the best way to get to kinkaku-ji then to Bamboo forest and back again? There does not seems to be a direct train route? I have read buses can be used for 500 yen per day. Is this a viable option tht will not take too long or be to complicated for gaishen?
Arigatou!
