Shuttle buses to subashiri 5th station

I am staying out of gotenba and we wish to climb up Mt Fuji via the subashiri trail, so need to get to 5th base
I believe there is a small car park to park rental cars and have heard there maybe shuttle buses every 30 minutes but no body seems to be able to confirm this
Does anyone know. Thanks

Yes, private car restriction is forced during the most of climbing days on Subashiri trail(as well as Yoshida and Fujinomiya trails).
You can park your car(include rental cars) in the temporary car parking on Fuji-Azami line, it will be charged 1,000 Yen per day and there are 500 car parking available per day.

From the temporary car parking, you need to ride on a shuttle bus for the 5th station which is operated by Fuji-kyu bus service. It will be charged 1,600 Yen for return(per person), or 1,220 Yen for single.

The shuttle bus departs temp car parking every :00 and :30(eg, 8:00 and 8:30) between 5:00 and 20:00, but, there are some exception on 23, 28,30th of Aug, and, 4 and 6th of Sep.

The shuttle bus departs Subashiri 5th every :15 and :45(eg, 8:15 and 8:45), but there are some exception on 23, 28, 30th of Aug and 4 and 6th of Sep.
