Haneda - Yokohama - Hakone reasonable?

I am planning to stay in a ryokan in Hakone. However, my flight arrives in the evening (7pm) so it would have to be the next day at least before I can make it to the ryokan.

One option is to stay at a hotel near the airport and go straight to Hakone the next day.

Second option is to head to Yokohama right away, tour around Yokohama for the next day, then finally head to Hakone on the third day.

In terms of time and ease of getting to Hakone, any recommendations on which option would be better? And how would I get there?

Haneda to Yokohama for 30min. by train.
Handa to Hakone-Yumoto for 2 hours by train.
You can get to Hakone at the day, but I recommend your second option.
Because if you get to onsen-ryokan at late night , you�fd not enjoy enough.
Please get there at 15:00, take the onsen , wear the yukata , walk around and enjoy their dinner. That is a good way at Japanese onsen ryokan , I think .
At the first day , enjoy Yokohama night .
There are many good restaurants and the beautiful night view at Minato-Mirai erea.
