Tokyo Pass or other cards? 2016/1/8 15:57
Hi! I just read about Tokyo Pass. Up until now i've already decided to just purchased the Pasmo Card for convenience on all our commute throughput the places we will be going. However, upon reading about the Tokyo Pass and the savings it will afford me, im abit confused. Should i need to get this also? Or will the Pasmo card suffice? Here is my IT:
Day 1: Arrive at Narita and proceed to Yuzawa, Nigata
Day 2: From Yuzawa, travel to Shinjuko (where we will be based) in the afternoon
Day 3: Tsukiji, Ginza, Odaiba
Day 4: Shinjuko, Shibuya, harajuko
Day 5: Ueno, Akihabara, Asakusa
Day 6: travel back home
I will be arriving on Feb 4. I'd appreciate all the help i can get about this. Thank you in advance!

It appears you should buy a "JR Tokyo Wide Pass" at Narita,

which is also listed here:

The pass should easily pay off by using a NEX and a Joetsu Shinkansen:

and another Joetsu Shinkansen back to Tokyo.

Day 3 would be just an extra.

says
Validity
2. Rinkai Line in central Tokyo
7. During the ski season, pass holders can profit from discounted offers for lift tickets, ski rental and onsen admission at the Gala Yuzawa resort.

The (non-JR) Rinkai Line in central Tokyo is useful for Odaiba.

Use Tokyo Wide Pass for Day 1-3
Then Pasmo or Suica IC Card for the rest.

Hope this helps!!
Have Fun!!
