How to get around Furano Skii Area 2016/1/11 15:05
Hi! My friends and I will be visiting Furano and will be staying at the Momiji apartment (http://www.japanskiexperience.com/accommodation/furano-accommodation/f...) and would like to visit the Cheese Factory (http://www.japanskiexperience.com/accommodation/furano-accommodation/f...) and the Wine Factory (http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6831.html).

How do we get there? Is it just walking distance or do we have to ride a bus?

Thanks in advance!

We Furano ski area have some unique volunteer guide system called "Furano Ski & Snowboard Hosts" since 2005.
We have facebook page and there you can book and ask any questions before and during your arrival.
we are under the control of the Furano Tourism Association.

Free hosting service for snow riders at Furano Resort. Volunteers ski hosts help you navigate the mountain and learn more about the region.
Furano Ski Hosts are volunteers who live in the Furano area.
They are dedicated volunteers coordinated by the Furano Tourism Association.
Ski Host lift passes are generously donated by the Furano Ski Area, Prince Grand Resort Furano.
If you have ever skied Furano, you might have met a volunteer ski host.

They wear emblazoned jackets and gather of a morning at the Kitanomine Gondola Building.
Ski hosts can be booked in advance or joined at 10 AM if there is room for more guests.
Afternoon sessions are also available - please ask at the Kitanomine information desk.

Ski hosts can:
* show you suitable runs
* help you learn the navigation between the two zones of the resort
* give you sightseeing suggestions based on your interests
* answer your questions about Furano and the region
Ski hosts generally volunteer because they are passionate about the resort, they love living in the region, and they are keen to freshen their language skills.
Ski hosts are unique to the Furano resort and we hope you will book a session with them.
