One day tour to Mt. Fuji

We want to travel for a day trip to Mt. Fuji on 1st may, sunday from Tokyo. On 2nd we wish to visit Hakone.
1) Since we have a JR pass, we would reach Kawaguchiko by train around 8.30 am, are there travel companies which organise 'full day tours' on sundays?
2) Since we want to visit Hakone on Monday, isn't it better to stay overnight at Kawaguchiko and travel to Hakone next morning, rather than travelling back to Tokyo?
3) We wish to travel to Kyoto from Hakone, is Monday enough time to see Hakone?
4) Does JR pass work with as Bus service?
5) Will we require Hotel reservation for our one night stay at Kawaguchiko or there are abundant Hotels there?
