Shimanami Kaido - where to stay

Hello, I will be attempting to bike the Shimanami kaido on June 13th. Would really appreciate some recommendations on where to stay along the way and if there is any "must see or do spots."
I have about 4 days to go from Imabari to Onomichi. Right now, I'm not sure which islands are best to make accomodations for.
