Dear All:
I will be in Kyoto later this week in which Gion Matsuri will be in our schedule. About the main procession on the 17th, how early should we be out "camping"? The hotel I am staying is very close to the starting point of the parade and is right in the middle of the pre-parade evening nights (that may actually be a bad thing). I presume the starting point may actually a bad spot to camp?
