Fuji Hakone pass

We want to go from Kawaguchiko to the Hakone area. We want to travel the ropeway and get a boat to Moto Hakone where we stay overnight. Then we need to go to Odawara the next day. Are we able to use this pass? Is this the cheapest way? Thanks, Michelle

It depends on where you start and end your trip. If you start and end it in Tokyo, then you can buy and use the pass for the entire trip.
But if you won't be in Tokyo before you go to Kawaguchiko, you won't be able to buy it. Likewise, if you do not return to Tokyo after Odawara, the "from Tokyo" version of the pass may not pay off.
