Hello,
I will be travelling solo in Hokkaido for about a week in late September. Please advise on itinerary? I would like to go see flowers, lakes, and visit an onsen. I will be travelling by public transport.
Any advice appreciated.

Flowers in September?
Use Google.
Where to go? Would be the loop.
1. Sapporo
2. Day trip to Otaru
3. To Daisetsuzan
4. To Akan National Park
5. To Shiretoko
6. To Tomanu
7. To Sapporo Airport

I'd suggest just hanging around the southern parts, such as Hakodate, Lake Toya, Noboribetsu Onsen, Sapporo, possibly Furano for flowers, Otaru and perhaps Asahikawa if you like.
