Activating Fuji Hakone pass

Hi,
is it possible to buy the Fuji Hakone pass at Shinjuku station say today, and then use it like in 8 days?
I want to buy it and go to Kyoto, then on my way back from Kyoto (in 8 days) make a stop at Odawara, spend the day in Hakone and go to Tokyo from Odawara using that pass. I'll go the next day to Kawaguchiko with a bus from Shinjuku
And again, is there a locker room at Odawara station?
