Name Mispronunciation

Hi, I am writing a story and my main characters name is Keiji. The background of the story is that he gets mistaken for a female, because he is very beautiful (or something, it's not completely fleshed out), and gets entered into a bridal competition to become the next queen. I need to know if there is a female name that is either written that same way in kanji as Keiji (京治) or if there is a way to slightly adjust the kanji to read a new name that is a female name, thus it being an error of whoever wrote his name.
Thanks!

Is that first name? If so that is male name, no female name. Famous mistaken first names are : - Akira (あきら、明、晶...) - Ayumu (あゆむ、歩) - Hidemi (ひでみ、秀美...) - Hikaru (ひかる、光) - Hiromi (ひろみ、博美、浩美...) - Jun (じゅん、純、順...) - Kaoru (かおる、薫、馨...) - Makoto (まこと、真...) - Masami (まさみ、雅美、政美...) - Nozomi (のぞみ、望、希...) - Shinobu (しのぶ、忍) and some more. I answered about "Most Japanese name Kanji using something of Nature" at another Q. http://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?0+154564And also asked "which era's story?" so if story background is not in modern era above names may not matched except "time slip/travel/machine" story as main charactor(s) jumped at story first(or).
