Nanzoin - Resting Buddha 2017/5/16 02:26
I went to Nanzoin to check out the Resting Buddha on break from school during golden week. Can anyone confirm that it's the largest bronze statue in the world? I keep reading that is might be, but no one can agree.

Yeah it's pretty big, I just took a picture of my wife standing next to the statue when I was there not too long ago... ( http://nihonscope.com/spiritual/nanzoin-temple-fukuoka-largest-bronze-... )... obviously I made the post name before I started seeing people posting about how it might not be, but no one else has come forth claiming otherwise.. but a lot of people seem to be going back and forth on it. One thing I know after having been a Japanese blogger for awhile now and now someone living in Japan is that I feel I can't trust that many sources online about any Japan, because people always seem to get it wrong in some way... Same thing with learning Japanese online, a lot of REALLY old Japanese is taught and I have not figured out if it's because they're being trolls or they're just simply trying to make money knowing full well 90% of the people who use their course won't ever know anyways, because going to Japan is a HUGE pipe dream for most people that will never happen, of course it's just my opinion based off of what I've seen and heard from dozens and dozens of people 'WANTING' to go to Japan.... okay my rants done :/
