Hiroshima Prefectural Citizens Culture Center 2023/7/26 03:24
I wanted to go to the Hiroshima Prefectural Citizens Culture Center to see Kagura. On the website it says take streetcar ride from Hiroshima Station. Is the street car ride hiroshima tram? If so, is the hiroshima tram station near JR Hiroshima station? To get to Hiroshima Prefectural Citizens Culture Center, which tram stop should I alight? By the way, I will be travelling from Osaka. The website also mentioned 3 minute walk from the Hiroshima Bus Center. Is there a bus I can take near JR Hiroshima station to Hiroshima Bus Center?

To see Kagura, do I need to book in-advance or I can safely get the ticket at the venue on the performance day?

Streetcar - trolley - tram... all the same thing.

HIROSHIMA station tram stop is directly outside train station.

Link map shows which stop you need to get off.

Tickets can be pre-purchased or walk-in. Walk-in option doesn't guarantee a seat. See ticket section in linked website.

Yes and Yes.

Kamiyacho-Higashi.

By the way, I will be travelling from Osaka. The website also mentioned 3 minute walk from the Hiroshima Bus Center. Is there a bus I can take near JR Hiroshima station to Hiroshima Bus Center?

There is Hiroshima Sightseeing Loop Bus calld Meipu-Ru-pu (Maple-Loop).

See the map. Hiroshima Prefectural Citizens Culture Center is called Rijo (Carp castle) Kaikan, so you should get off at Kamiyacho bus stop. Since this bus is operated by JR-Chugoku, a subsidery of JR-West so you can use it for free if you have the Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass.

You can book online, at Seveen-Eleven store. Also you can buy non-reserved seats on the day at the lobby.

I think the easiest way is buying at a Seven-Eleven (in Osaka, for example). Tell the staff "P-code" 562-446 and tell her/him that you would like to buy tickets for your date.

Have a nice trip!
