Statement of service for SOFA visa inquiry

I reapplied for SOFA Japan Visa to visit my boyfriend. The visa agency told me that the statement of service document should be dated within 3 months but my boyfriend told me that he can�ft get an updated version of the document easily just because the date needs an update and the document has no expiration date. His assignment is still the same as before and nothing changed. The agency made me wrote a letter of consideration for the embassy, but if they asked for one, we are required to submit a new one. Anyone who experienced the same? Will the embassy deny my visa? Thank you to those who will help

They require up to date details. Which is why the want something dated within 3 months.

Don't wanna do it. Then run the risk of rejection. Then begin the whole process again.
