Toda-Koen to Tokyo 2010/6/12 16:28
Ok, so this summer, me and 2 friends will be staying in Todakoen for a month. We plan to go to Tokyo pretty much most of the time.

The distance is a little bit too far to walk every day, so I was wondering what would be the best way to get between Todakoen and Tokyo on a regular basis? Thanks!

Andrew,

You don't say where exactly in Tokyo you wish to go to, but Todakoen Station is situated on the Saikyo Line, with direct trains to Ikebukuro, Shinjuku, and onward to Shibuya and Odaiba. If you change at Akabane, you can switch to trains for the east side of Tokyo, heading for Ueno and Tokyo Stations.

The HyperDia site is handy for checking train routes and fares...
