The outlets are basically the same, although most Japanese outlets don't have a third hole for a grounding prong.

The voltage difference is just 20 volt and Japanese voltage is lower, which I believe should not cause any damage or malfunction to most electrical appliances.

Furthermore many charging cables, etc. come with a built-in adapter that takes care of the world's voltages. Take a look at yours. If it covers Japan's 100 volt, there is even less to worry about.

You will not need an adapter for any of your devices for Japan, except for maybe a 3 to 2 prong adapter if any of your chargers use grounded plugs. Pick one up if you need it at your local hardware store for a dollar or two before heading to Japan. They look like this:

You will however need a plug adapter and stepdown converter for Korea as they use 220v and European type C and F plugs. You can get separate plug adapters and voltage converters or all in one units at a travel or electronics store.
