Any easy access, nice Ryokan with Spring? 2010/12/7 00:18
Hi,

Does anyone know any Ryokan with a nice outdoor spring that is easy access by public transport? and not too far from city/ rail station, approx within 30min or so.

I was trying to find one with nice outdoor Spring online but all are at least 1-2hr ride from the city I'll be stopping :s

Location: Hakodate, Sapporo, Furano, Kyoto/Osaka, Tokyo

We're not familiar with Japan & can barely speak Japanese at all... therefore we prefer easier access to prevent from getting LOST!

Also any recommended hotel/restaurant in Hokkaida with Good Seafood?? :D

Yunokawa, Hakodate 2010/12/8 15:23
I recommend Yunokawa Onsen (hot spring) at Hakodate. You can easily access Yunokawa area by bus or tram from Hakodate station within 30 min.

Also, you can find nice sea food restaurants in Asaichi (Morning Market) area nearby Hakodate station.

Hakone 2010/12/9 00:04
Hakone is the closest and most easily accessible Hot spring area from Tokyo.

I recommend Ryokan Kritani Hakoneso (http://www.japanbooking.info/ryokan/kiritani-hakoneso) if you are going there.

I stayed there once and everything was great and had a great time.
