I am now a foreign student studying in Japan. I am going to come back to my country in february, and in April, before going to school again, I together with my parents will have a 10 day-trip along Japan. I am going to buy Japan Rail Pass for my parents. And I am wondering that in my situation, because I come back to country, so I can buy Japan Rail Pass for myself outside Japan. Can I also use Japan Rail Pass? I have 2-year-validity student visa, I am not sure that is it considered as temporary visitor visa? I hope to get your respond soon. Thank you.

Unfortunately, your student visa does not qualify you to use a Japan Rail Pass. Only temporary visitor's visa holders can use one.
