I should have addressed this in my other question, but do I have to wear something formal if I am visiting Kokedera? I know you have to copy the sutra and do a bunch of other stuff

As Rabbityama said in your other thread:
No, there is not a dress code. Although temples are religious places, most people treat them as tourist sites, so it's completely normal to see people wearing jeans, shorts, etc.
This applies equally to Kokedera.
