Hi
I have booking every thing with famiry of5 to Japan with JRpass 7Days 1-8may after find out is your golden holiday we were worry but cannot change anything now .we have leave Tomaya in the morning on6May to Tateyama alpine route any advice to catch this.

May 6 is going to busy (especially if the weather is good), but with some patience it is possible to pass through the Alpine Route. I recommend an early start. Expect waiting times at some bottlenecks along the way.
