Fuji Five Lakes itinerary

I will be going to the Fuji five lakes area and wants to go to the following tourist attractions: Herb Hall Lake Kawaguchi facing Mount Fuji so that I can take a picture of Mt Fuji Shizen Seikatsukan (The nature living center thing) Oshino Hakkai
I noticed that there are only 2 day bus passes and I'm going to be in Fuji for only 1 day. Can someone arrange me an efficient itinerary and the cheapest way possible? My overnight train departs at 1907 (Starting from Kawaguchiko station). Also, does anybody know any famous Hoto noodles restaurant? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I visited Fuji Five Lakes on my trip to Japan, and I loved it. The only thing is that I was in Tokyo for a few days and waited until it was a clear day so I could see the mountain. Otherwise if you go on a cloudy day you won't be able to see the mountain. I got to Fuji Five Lakes by using the JR Chuo Line from Shinjuku station and then transferring to the Fujikyu Railway Line. It is described on this page: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6905.htmlHere's the page of all the attractions around the area: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6900.htmlAs for places that I visited, I really enjoyed visiting all the caves near Mt. Fuji, especially the Bat Cave and Ice Cave. You can take a bus there. http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6911.htmlIf you can see Mt. Fuji, I'd recommend going to the Kachi Kachi Ropeway to get a good view: http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6916.htmlGood luck, and have a nice trip. -Jesse
