Travel during Spring Equinox Day

So we are planning to arrive on March 20th 2013, but I noticed that is when this holiday is. I'm a bit concerned because that weekend is also an Anime convention in Tokyo.

How busy is travel during this holiday? Will it be exceptionally busy with the holiday AND convention during the weekend?

I don't think either will have much of an influence on your travel.

You can search for "Spring Equinox" in the search box above for some older threads on Spring Equinox if you wish.

Although the Anime Convention is large I don't think it will have a major impact on you unless you plan on going there.

By comparison, even somewhere like Disneyland will have more than double those numbers each day.
