Christmas morning on Kyoto - what to do

We have a number of days in Kyoto leading up to Christmas. During that time we'll be doing the usual touristy things. On Christmas morning we have a spare few hours before heading to Kinosaki for 2 nights.

Any suggestions for something nice to do Christmas morning and lunch? We realise that Christmas day is not celebrated at the same scale as at home here in Australia....but would still like to do something nice as we'll be on honeymoon.

A nice place for breakfast or lunch perhaps?

You will be surprised, Christmas is more present in Kyoto these days than in Europe. Half of the cafes and shops play X-mas music, and lots of illuminated decorations around. Seems clear, Xmas is Kawaii. So a cosy caferestaurant will easily found ( although I can t give you an adress), after experienced a long weekend off ( 23.-25.11.) with myriads of tourists because of autumn colours, maybe a reservation is needed.
