Hi, I and my wife will be go to Japan on 2rd of January 2013.
1) Would a JR Rail pass be a good fit for this itinerary as below?
Day 1: Osaka - Kyoto
Day 2: Kyoto
Day 3: Kyoto (take overnight bus to Yokohama)
Day 4: Yokohama
Day 5: Yokohama
Day 6: Yokohama – Tokyo (Take overnight bus to Osaka)
Day 7: Osaka
Day 8: Osaka
2) Is the JR Rail pass can use for the overnight JR highway bus to Tokyo?
3) Is it cheaper price to buy regular rail tickets and Japan Bus Pass (from Kyoto to Tokyo)?
