Hirano, Yamanakako Village to Kyoto 2013/1/14 20:10
I will be at Hirano, Yamanakoko Village for an event and will like to depart to Kyoto.

Am very confused with the services available. Will it be easier if I travel from Hirano to Kawaguchiko station to transfer train to Kyoto or should I travel to Gotemba then to Kyoto?

Appreciate if anyone can advice.

Thanks.

The fastest way to Kyoto leads via Gotemba.

You can catch hourly Gotemba/Mishima bound buses from Asahigaoka bus stop (also known as Yamanakako bus stop) which is centered on the following map:

If you start your journey in Hirano at the eastern end of the lake, you have to ride a different bus from there to Asahigaoka or the western end of the lake where you can transfer to the Gotemba bound bus.
