Kamikochi - Alpine Route - Kurobe Gorge

I am travelling in the Japanese Alps in May this year. I am considering this for the last part of my itinerary: 20 May: Morning in Takayama, then bus to Kamikochi. 21 May: Hiking Kamikochi, overnight. 22 May: Bus to Matsumoto, visit castle. 23 May: Tateyama Alpine Route, overnight Toyama. 24 May: Kurobe Gorge, late train to Tokyo. 25 May: Fly home late evening.
Is this a good plan or is it too much? Is it worth doing all of these, or if I should drop the Kurobe Gorge? How does the Kurobe Gorge compare with Tateyama Alpine Route? Thanks

Your route looks fine.
Just have slight doubt about Kurobe Gorge. It is a popular destination during autumn foliage season but not sure whether it is worth a special trip to Unazuki Onsen to take the Kurobe Kyokoku rail in May. Whereas May is indeed a very good time to see the mighty snow corridor in the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route.
