Hiroshima Castle

Hiroshima Castle was built in 1589 by the Mori clan. It was completely destroyed by the atomic bomb. The year 1958 marked the completion of today's concrete reconstruction of the castle, which houses a museum.

how to get there

The castle is a 10 minute walk from the streetcar station Kamiya-cho on lines 1, 2 and 6 from Hiroshima Station. It is also a 10 minute walk from Shukkeien or a 15 minute walk from the Peace Park.
