How to get around the Okinawa Islands
Ferries and airplanes connect Okinawa Main Island with the other islands of the Okinawa archipelago.
Kume Island and Yoron Island in neighboring Kagoshima Prefecture have airports with several daily flights to Naha. Furthermore, most inhabited islands of the Okinawa archipelago are connected with Naha Port and/or other ports on the Okinawa Main Island by ferries.

35 minutes, 2430 yen by high speed boat from Naha
70 minutes, 1620 yen by ferry from Naha
To Aguni Island:
2 hours, 3320 yen by ferry from Naha
To Iheya Island:
80 minutes, 2380 yen by ferry from Unten Port on the Motobu Peninsula
To Ie Island:
30 minutes, 700 yen by ferry from Motobu Port on the Motobu Peninsula
