February 5, 2018 - Owl Cafe
Ricky, an owl cafe in Sendai. What do you do at an owl cafe, you might ask? Play with owls of course! This one also has other animals including ducks and reptiles. Basically the staff helps you hold and pet the owls, who each have their own personality. See the pics below for more details!

This guy looks like Hedwig, but he was suuuuper irritable. Look out for owl bites.
I called this owl from across the room, he flew over to take the food I had for him. Then with a flick of the wrist I sent him back.
So hard to get everyone looking in the same direction at the same time....
Twins!
This guy is huge, like 10kg. We're both ready to head into battle.
The also have some reptiles. This is some kind of gila monster or komodo dragon or something. Noooot really my thing.
I decided to face the fear and "hold" this snake. He kind of took off and was slithering all over me. He's not dangerous though, so it was a good experience.
