October 31, 2012 - Keyakidaira, Kurobe gorge
Autumn has caught up in the Kurobe gorge,there is beauty in this death.A beauty that is thrilling to chase, to watch and to preserve.
I took the early morning train from Uozu to Unazuki. Crowds were less, I had an entire car to myself on the Kurobe gorge railway while I travelled both ways, so that both sides of the train were accessible.
I wondered if I could beat the early morning cold in the second class car, but decided to brave it lest my photographs be compromised by reflections off the glass of the upper class cars.
