If you are a cyclist who is dreaming of touring in Hokkaido but is able to take day-off on weekends only, appropriate two day course is waiting for you!

You can feel "Hokkaidiatic" landscape in half a day from Tokyo

About 13 km ride from Mombetsu airport to the direction of northwest, you reach at the crossing of national route 238 & 273, where is the start and goal of this 100km circuit trail.

Frankly, landscape around the start is not much beautiful. But within 5 minutes ride to west on national route 273 for Takinoue (��) town, you will find yourself surrounded by attractive scenery of ranches and greenery fields.

Turn right to prefectural road 996 (for Asahi, Nishiokoppe) at the T-crossing 29km away from the start.

Continue the ride and you go through the north edge of Takinoue town.

Turn right to Prefectural road 61 (for Shibetsu, Asahi, Nishiokoppe) at the crossing 35km plus away from the start. And then after about 5.6km pass from the crossing to route 61 in Takinoue town, turn right to route 137 (for Shimokawa, Nishiokoppe)

after riding on the route 137, hill-climbing for 3km is waiting

After biking on the hill-climbing and down part, you will face the last climb to Nishiokoppe (��) village. But before the climb, how about dropping at a deer meadow?

You can terminate the first day at Nishiokoppe village. Hotel Rimu (�X��) run by the village, you can enjoy Onsen at moderate fee.

Next day you get back to Mombetsu via national route 239 at first.

After passing "North plain farm", the center of Okoppe town is about to appear

After cycling down the route 239 to Okoppe town for about 24 km, you will get to the crossing to route 238. Turn right to the direction of Mombetsu at the point.

After transfering to route 238, bike the road along seaside. Please dont miss Omusaro relics and nature view house near the goal.

This 100km circuit trail may be short for two days. You have enough time to bike after arriving at Mombetsu airport on the 1st day and before the departure on the 2nd. Though this course looks short if you are a cyclist with lots of energy, all the typical attractive landscapes of Hokkaido (ranches, straight road, nature view, hill-climb, seaside road, histric place, and etc...) and aspects of bike tours are crammed in this route.
