February 27, 2019 - The Izanro Iwasaki Ryokan in Tottori

The Izanro Iwasaki Ryokan is one of the historic hotels in the Misasa Onsen that has always been a favourite of the Japanese Royal family and famous intellectual Japanese poet-painters (bunjin) of yore. This hot-spring in this four-star hotel is said to be one of the world best radium hot springs. The monk at Wakoin said, one would go to Mt. Mitoku heal his soul and to Misasa to heal his body. The Ryokan provides 87 spacious rooms from Annex Japanese to Western style in a strong Japanese ambiance. The staffs were friendly and attentive. Had a relaxing and comfortable stay.
