February 28, 2019 - Dinner at the Izanro Iwasaki Ryokan, Tottori

We came to a Japanese tatami room reserved for our dinner in our yukata straight after a refreshing bath in the ryokan. We were greeted politely by the staff who has been patiently waiting for our arrival. The dinner course came in traditional Japanese dishes that included seafood sashimi (or otsukuri), grilled fish, fish and shrimp (mosa-ebi which could only be found in Tottori) tempura, and a mini tabe-dish, etc. The various preparations of the dishes gave a balance of taste to the meal which had deeply satisfied our taste bud.
