I am interested in going out to clubs in Tokyo. Is there anyone who can recommend some? I wanna go dancing and party all night and I saw on websites by clubs that some are only open until midnight? Is that possible?

My favorite spot was womb. Awesome sounds set up, great djs and great visuals. I also went to roppongi which is great to check out once lots of clubs kind of reminds me of partying in Tijuana minus the grit. I think my favorite spot in roppongi was "new luxito" or something like that. It might be hard to get in because the second time we tried to get in they didn't allow foreigners even though we were able to get in the night before

Do not go to roppongi. It is a hole. Swarming with American military guys , various weird old Japanese guys and a few really low quality oba-sans.

I never heard of womb discriminating, and always understood it to be a popular place for foreigners. Did they say that was why you couldn't get in, or was that just your assumption? Maybe you went during a private event?

I had one of my best night outs ever(!) in ageha...and I have been partying all over the world :)
Roppongi is quite crowded as well...but recmmond going to the clubs in Shibuya or Shinjuku/Kabukicho as Roppongi is a bit dodgy and too many striptease bars.

Its probally not so much not letting foreigners in as not letting in a gang of 5 foreign guys who they think are obviously just there to hastle women (since many such groups are). You get that kind of crap anywhere in the world.

Between all these areas (Shibuya/Shinjuku/Roppongi), is there a huge price difference? I guess I don't even know what "cheap" or "expensive" means for Japanese bars/clubs. What does an average night cost you guys in these areas?
I'm used to drinking in big cities and waking up with a mildly obscene bar receipt in my pocket, but I want to know the range of trouble I will be getting myself into at least.

I'd say most places are similar to Los Angeles. If you haven't partied in LA I'd say $6-7 for basic well drinks or beer.
