I have a set of these vases I believe. There is no mark on the bottom, but a mark on the side. I will post a picture of it, can anyone help?

I can't say anything about art treasures or antiques,
(so I can't tell that's Japanese or Chinese)
but try to read it in Japanese Kanji...

It's in the cursive style,
maybe it looks like 鳴山(naruyama, nariyama, nakiyama or meizan)?

BTW, the pronunciation of many Japanese proper names in Kanji are not easy to tell even for Japanese native speakers.
