Kabuki-za performances sold out?

I happened to realize too late that the online registration for the Kabuki-za April performances opened a few days ago. I was able to register a seat for the third performance of the day but all the first and second shows appear to be sold out (unselectable).
Am I out of luck to try and see an earlier performance because of the special nature of the opening of the theatre in April or would I be able to wait in line early to try and get a ticket?

I have a feeling you're out of luck. Kabuki is so important in Japan and the opening of the Kabukiza is big news. Demand for tix is outrageous, so feel blessed you have what you got!
It's like trying to get first day tix for the opening of SkyTree or something similar.
