What are the best Japanese chocolates, candies, biscuits and snacks to bring back home that can be brought from grocery stores, drugstores etc. Please exclude wagashi like yatsuhashi etc.

I tend to buy things by name. Things like Crunky or Melty Kiss (strawberry) have gone down well in the past. I havent found any Japanese chocolate or snacks my family dont like yet :)

Black Thunder is popular and extremely cheap, too.
Any chocolate/snack from Lotte, Meiji, and Glico can be found at those stores.
Some of the best snacks are local omiyage, but you don't say where you're going, so it can't be recommended.

Convenience stores sell a mountain of chocolate and snacks. Our favourite chocolate is Meiji: the best! Enjoy!
