Japanese rock bands (not visual kei)

im looking for some new japanese bands to listen to but i am struggling to find stuff that i like as im not that into visual kei (i listen to a bit of nightmare sometimes)

im really into ling tosite sigure (rin toshite shigure) and qomolangma tomato

also some softer stuff like shugo tokumaru.

if anyone has any good suggestions then i would love to hear them.

Monkey Majik and One Ok Rock. Both bands are good. Different styles but good.

And both bands are some of the few in Japan that won't make you cringe at hearing their English songs. The former for obvious reasons.

I second One Ok Rock. Also like Greeeen (more alternative or pop) and Pay Money To My Pain.

Check Japanese festival line ups, live house event listings, etc....

Sousaiteiriron, ogre you asshole, thee machine gun elephant chatmonchy, red bacteria vacuum, electric eel shock, sakanaction, blue hearts (ye olde school), etc.... a lot out there.
