Can Kannazuki (神無月) be written in hiragana as かんなずき or does it need to be written a different way to retain it's meaning?

In general, to spell the word in hiragana has more soft/warm/feminine nuances than in Kanji. In this 神無月's case, if you have no particular reason to spell it in Hiragana, you may want to write it in Kanji. I usually never see かんなづき in Hiragana. BTW, かんなづき is correct for 神無月 because 月 is つき not すき.

Also, better to write in kanji, if commonly written so, to read & pick up the meaning visually & quickly. If in hiragana, it is like reading each alphabet in a word.
