Please translate into Japanese writing:

''I Love You''-------(As a mother would say to a child)

''I will protect you'' ------(As male would say to female)

The first one is the same as when you want to express love to somebody:

「愛している」

Thing is, I don't think it's common that parents say that to their children in Japan (Please correct me if they are. I'd be happy to know that).

The second one can be said in a number of ways, but I prefer:

「お前は俺が守る」

When the Crown Prince proposed to the Crown Princess,
he said "僕が一生全力でお守りします".
It's a famous story in Japan.

BTW, Japanese never call the Emperor and the Crown Prince by name and they have no family name.
