That won't be necessary 2013/6/21 15:15
I have a Japanese language learning question. How do you say ''That won't be necessary'' in JPN? I need to know both the polite and plain forms of the phrase, please. The phrase is common or very common in ENG and that's the phrase where people ask other people to not do anything that is necessary (Ex: People giving directions of your destination and you know where it is and to go.), especially if it's a request. So, when I go to Japan someday and if anyone offers me a request, I will say ''That won't be necessary.'' So, please, tell me how to say the phrase in JPN? Share your reply, please. Thank you

polite and common...
大丈夫です(daijoubu desu; I'm OKay)

to refuse... (some lades say this politely)
結構です(kekkou desu; no thanks)

a bit offensive to refuse...
間に合ってます(maniattemasu; enough)
いいです(ii desu; no thanks)

formal...
必要ありません(hitsuyou arimasen; not be necessary)

to close friends...
大丈夫(daijoubu)
いいよ(ii yo) *Pay attention to the intonation
