Barbershop Quartet or String Quartet 2013/7/2 16:22
Hi,

I and my newly-wed wife are coming to Japan on honeymoon.
I would like to surprise my wife as well as make her feel special.
Thinking to hire barbershop quartet or string quartet, so that they can sing a song for my wife and make her feel special.
Is it possible to hire one in Tokyo?
Can you please provide me any contacts?

Also, is there anything traditional in Japan that a newly married couple does?
Can non-Japanese do it which will not hurt the feelings of Japanese?

Please suggest.

thanks,
Srujan.

I was newly married and living in Japan years ago.

We found ourselves at an inn and had the wonderful experience of a concert featuring
traditional Japanese music. Koto and shakuhatchi. It was magic, authentic and very beautiful. Why go to Japan to hear other cultures music ?

Find a concert of Japanese music perhaps along with a tea ceremony. She'll love it

You will not regret it. Guarenteed !!
Congratulations !!
