Anyone out there who can or knows someone else who teach maths using saroban? It is wellknown in Japan?

Soroban is very well-known in Japan.
Some schoolchildren learn at neighboring そろばん教室(soroban-kyoushitsu; soroban lesson/coaching school) like this.

There is a そろばん教室 even in a house of refuge of Tsunami.
