I'm wondering if there are any cheap (500-800 yen per person) places to eat around Himeji. I'm planning on having lunch before I go to the castle.

At the Himeji Station, you can find Donburi Kitchen (Donburi) or Tsurumaru (Udon Noodle) which you can eat with the price range. There are places like Lotteria, KFC, and Starbucks as well.
