I hope these movies help the people who visit Japan and especially who change trains at Tokyo Station.
This station has so huge and complicated promise that a lot of people get troubles.
It might take a long time to get the train which takes you to your destination.
Before going to the Tokyo Station, people would be able to look and feel the inside of the station through these movies.
This would be helpful for making people easily change trains, wouldn't this ?
This is my question.
If people can change trains smoothly, they don't need to waste the time.
When I changed trains at the Gare du Nord station in Paris, it took a couple of hours just to get to the Eurostar's platform via subway.
I couldn't find not only any direction boards toward that platform around subway exit, but also French who speak English.
This situation caused the trouble.
Since I've experienced this hard time, I've been thinking of how efficiently I would be able to give useful information to change trains.
The best way would be to show the way of walking to each platform and to also show the train's shape on movie.
Based on this conclusion I've designed the movies because I thought that there might be a lot of people all over the world suffering in changing trains at Tokyo Station.
It took about four months to take videos and edit them.
So today I tried to present you the movies above.
I hope you like them and they will help you and your friends someday to change trains smoothly.
Finally I want to say thank you to Mr. Mfedley and Mr. Uji.
Thanks to your kind suggestion, I could have the chance to present my movies here.
Best regards,
Tom
