How do you call heat protection spray in japanese? I don't want to take the risk and put my bottle in the luggage because it's leaking, so I'd like to buy one in Japan but have no idea how it's called...

Do you mean a product that you would spray on/apply on your hair before blow-drying it with a dryer?
"Buro you no hea supure" (hair spray for blow-drying) is the phrase that comes to mind. If you just say "hair spray," they would not know if you want the one you spray before drying, or you spray after styling/drying is finished to keep the shape :)
There are other types too - hair treatment (cream) that you can put on your hair before drying.

if you specify your product in Amazon, someone will tell you a similar product selling in Japan.
