My family and I would like to know where we can attend Christmas Eve/Day mass in Osaka. day/time and location. Thanks.

The Archdiocese of Osaka has a list of churches here:

Doesn't say anything specific about Christmas day (it's a generic Sunday/weekday timetable), but perhaps you can use the contact information - with some assistance from your hotel if necessary - to get the details you need.

The website of St. Ignatius Church in Tokyo has a wealth of links to individual diocese/church websites all across Japan (I use it quite frequently when looking for churches to attend Mass in, wherever I happen to be in the country). Here's the address:

http://www.ignatius.gr.jp/eng/other/links.html

Click on "Churches Menu", then click on "Archdiocese of Osaka" in the sub-menu that will appear on the lower right-hand part of the page. This will bring up a list of individual church websites that you can try going through one by one, to see if any of them has a schedule for Christmas day.

Cheerio.

One more thing: I should point out that there are quite a few dead links in the St. Ignatius list, and some of the English pages listed there (even if still live) might not have been updated in a while.

Generally your best bet would be to consult the Japanese-language section of each church/diocese website, as this is more likely to be updated regularly (given that most of their parishioners would probably be locals).

Another option might be to send an enquiry to the Franciscan Chapel Center. They're in Tokyo, but it's an English-speaking Catholic parish that ministers to the expatriate community there, so there should be a fair chance that someone will be able to read your English message and reply back with details of Christmas Masses in Osaka.
