Using Japanese Washlets in USA

I have checked old thread about this topic here: http://www.japan-guide.com/forum/quereadisplay.html?2+48109That thread is now closed. Just wondering if there are other people who have used Japanese Washlets in the US specially in Hawaii. If they have had any voltage issues etc. I am about to leave Japan and was thinking of buying the washlet attachments by Panasonic or toto. Appreciate any input. Thanks MH

They sell them in Canada and they aren't that expensive, so they must be sold in the US too.

I got one quite a few years ago that had metric thread sizes on the water attachments. I had to spend some time in the Home Depot plumbing section to find some Metric to SAE adapters before it would hook up. It held up OK to the higher voltage in the US (115V in US vs 100V in Japan).
