How can I meet Japanese in Tokyo?

Hello everyone,
I am in Tokyo right now and I will stay here for one month.
I was wondering how to meet Japanese people who speak English or French (because I'm French native) inside Tokyo, how to have cultural exchange and even more, if you guys know how to find someone to help me learn japanese...
Because for now I'm discovering Japan on my own, I'm doing a lot of walks alone, but I really want to meet Japanese people and, why not, make some friends...
If you guys have some tips, I'm listening !!
Thanks !

You could try "Friends" or "Language exchange" sections of this website here. Be sure to mention that you are in Japan NOW, so that people who are interested in meeting would respond.
If you are already in Japan, you might find someone at your accommodation - are you staying in a guesthouse or hostels, where you would bump into other people?

meetup.com is very good and I've used it when on longer trips in Japan. There's lots of groups catering to all nationalities, ages and interests.

You can go to one of the many International Parties in Tokyo (use google), there you can find for sure many japanese people who speaks at least some english and are interested in knowing gaijin (I've heard french guys are very popular between the ladies hehe) from there everything depends on you. Au revoir
